There are many things you learn over the years in business, one is to sell a good product or perform a service that is required to your target customers. Two is to market your business. Marketing pays off no matter what the shape of the economy is. When I ran my martial arts business I utilized fliers, hats and personalized pens as a way to get my services name out there. The most important part of marketing is getting your name in front of as many people as possible. After all everyone is a potential customer. When someone is needing your service you want to have your name and contact information as close to their finger tips as possible and that is when I thought of the pens. I have so many pens myself with businesses on them. Many times I have actually called the number on the pens because it was handy and convenient and I know many others that have done the same. When you are in business you have to be on your toes all the time to your competition as well as promoting your business. For that advertising in any form possible is advisable. Little billboards that people can not only carry around and loan to others to use is a bonus idea. When ever I see advertising on something all I can think about is, “How can I get my company’s name there?” The person reading your advertising may just be your next big customer.
