These days sports and business go hand in hand. No wonder with cost of stadium upkeep to paying the players you have to have a cash flow to maintain a sports team. Most sports teams have income from tickets, merchandise sales, television revenue and business sponsors. Around a sports team there are many other businesses that make money from the team, like food vendors, sports merchandise vendors even ticket companies that sell tickets for the team.  The local governments make taxes from the sales and the local utilities companies will revenues, just like any other business. Then sports teams also provide jobs from security, maintenance, administration, the players, coaches, and other support jobs for the team.

Some innovative ways money is made from sports are sports tours of your favorite team. These travel tours are available throughout Europe and Worldwide, tours are designed to suit all budgets.  I kinda like this were someone else handles my trip all I do is show up and have a good time. As you can see a sports team means business, money, jobs and fun. It would be nice to own a sports team.
