As I watch all of the graduates of this year’s high school graduation I think about all the gifts that will be given to the many students that have applied themselves and are on the way to their new lives. Left in their place is another group of eager students. The common denominator are the unsung heroes that give each of these determined individuals their jump start. The teachers and counselors that have given each of these young hopefuls the tools they need to realize their dreams. That is why I think each teacher should receive a movado watch to symbolize the time that they put in on our children to make a difference in their lives. I say now thank you to all teachers that are determined to make a difference under sometimes very difficult circumstances.
