I can not tell you how many times I have seen vinyl banners announcing events tied between poles. We have a major intersection in our down town area and it is the perfect place to get the word out if your group is having an event. I assume most busy downtown intersections have the same type of place. You never know how many banners will be tied between those poles either. I have seen them tied extremely high. I never could figure out how they got it up so high but they did. If you have ever wondered where they get those vinyl banners from you can order them online. You can design and order them online so when you get them they are ready to hang. They are certainly attention grabbers. We have attended many events that we would not have known about had it not been for the banners in our intersection! When our school had an event they could not get any space on the poles so the football team spent the day holding the large vinyl banner. We felt sorry for them as the wind began to pick up but they were loving it. Because they were such troopers we had a huge number of people turn out. On everyone’s conversation was if the football team was dedicated enough to the event to stand out there all day fighting the wind then the least they could do was come to the event! Now that was advertising!
