Ran into a banker friend of mine the other day, asked him what is up? He had a new business adventure outside banking, making products for a travel industry. I asked if he had a website. No. How are you promoting your new business adventure, by the internet. This the common concept with new business adventures, but a website and they will come. Not. Most small businesses or startups need help with internet marketing, of their businesses website. Overall internet traffic and if needed local traffic are what makes a website increase brand awareness and create leads for sales, maybe even product sales itself. Getting traffic to create sales or the awareness is generated with search engine online marketing techniques and link building in search engines. Online marketing is not an overnight process, it is a repeative series of link building, press release, social media and other online marketing process to get a website ingrained into the search engines to enable websurfers to find you. My take is to market first then build the website. Then that is just me.
