When a friend of ours had to move across the country he was so stressed out with the house searching and the job searching that my family and I decided that he needed our help. When we got to his house we found a very stressed out man and a family that was in a state of confusion. All of the knew decisions being made had them in a very stressed out state of mind. When we got there we took the lead that he gladly gave to us. As we were packing I asked when the movers were suppose to be there. He said his wife had called them to tell them the new moving date. His wife said that she had not he was suppose to. This was a very bad thing. It was a long holiday weekend. We could not find any cross country moving companies that were available that day! So we made one. We rented two gigantic moving vans and got everything into them both. We pulled out with the families and 2 cats and a dog all in the caravan! We drove straight through taking turns. We had to stop a couple of times but mostly stayed on the road. Both families actually enjoyed that trip so much. The camaraderie could not be matched as we all came together on what could have been a very trying time. That has been several years ago now but still every so often he brings it up to me and thanks me. I guess he does not realize that it made me just as thankful for him as he is for me.
