Our corner store started off as a small business where everything was done by hand. They would figure up everything and hand write it out. As our neighborhood grew so did the store..sorta. They increased their inventory and got a somewhat newer cash register but still hand wrote out most everything. One day as I was gathering my normal pick this up on my way home list I noticed the line was flying with speed. As I got to the check out the girl was so proud to show us her new receipt printer. She said that it was high time they keep up with their competition….I asked her who was their competition and she said Wal Mart! We both got a laugh out of that.
