A few years back our home was hit by a tornado. The tornado knocked three four foot diameter trees on to our house. These trees crushed a bathroom window and split one of the walls from the the corner of the house. To top it all off, after we covered the open wall, the rain came that night gang busters. I remember listening to the rain drips all night on that March day. With the rain there was enough damage to allow us to remodel several rooms. This was cool, get a new fresh room in your home. The contractor we hired was an experience builder type, just like the Kansas City remodeling residential contractors that take extra care of your project. No project is too small. Finish the job that is started, complete the work as quick as possible. After the contractor fixed the wall, we told him to take his time. We just wanted extra attention spent on the remodeling. All contractors need to licensed and insured as required by your local laws and comply with all local residential building codes, oh yes we still need the proper permits for the remodel construction. After a week the remodeling job came out better than expected.
