I have noticed lately that my Amazon sales has been off some as of late.  This start happening around the end of January, but for Feburary until May have been a little slack.  I am sure the numbers will go back up.

To further monetize you blog to produce an income for you, you should sign up for Amazon affiliate. This will give you access to product and book sales of every topic known to man.  Most sites will offer books related to the niche or topic of their blog. One thing to note is the income percentage is low about 4 percent.  I know it should be more, it is what it is, an extra opportunity to make a sell.  Amazon will allow you to mix and match products and even let you pick them based on keywords. Your blog normally will have a central theme or niche. The blog site AD’s will work best when they are close or the same as your theme. Keep your content good and unique. Blog as much as possible and add new content to blog often, the more you post the better. Advertising will need to blend with your niche theme.

Money can be made by blogging but you need viewers. Advertising ads on your blog is an effective method to make money online. Your blogging niche will depend on your visitors. Searches can be performed on your key words to see the number of search engine surfers that are looking for that key word. This is your basis to judge on what your marketing niche should be on your blog.

Be aware when picking your Niche that many visitors just come to read your knowledge on your blog and will close the window after reading the content or get what they want. This type of visitors can be about 85-90% and this percentage is totally depends on content of your blog so it can vary depending on niche. Your remaining visitors whatever else they can get from your blog.

As you progess along with your blog project, your blog will need to have lots about of interactive content so that large number of visitor will surf through more of your content and will come back to read your next post. As we discussed before set up your Twitter account to match your domain url, this limits your url to 15 characters.  This puts like brand on your Twitter posts, this way you will have your posts show up in Google with your domain name on it.  This will give you domain name lists in the search engines. Do a search on just your domain name exampl: blogprofitexpert  and see what comes up.

Traffic from Twitter for some is huge and as more come on line, it good to get as many friends as possible.  Now the money making part of twtter, it is designed to work once you accumlate thousands of friends.  One  is magpie and another is TwitAD.  Be careful with these your follwers will unfollow if you use these products sometimes or alot, you do not sweat those followers, they were not meant to be part of your collective.

Magpie is an Ad Network for Twitter. You can set how often it hits your Twitter account with non-over powering ad. Might want to start off slow until your followers get used to them

What every kind of advertising you do on twitter, just go slow to start. Spamming has starting to creep into Twitter.

I have been getting several requests on how-to blog and start getting into blogging. Then I thought that the old saying : It is better to teach you How-to Fish that it is to give you the fish. Once you have the skill, you can continue to feed yourself. Ok I am game for that. So I started on the side bar a list of blogging tools:

The first allows you to purchase a domain name for your blog, remember to use key words in your blog domain that goes with the theme of you blog content. Then get some cheap hosting for your blog, you can normally get domain name and blog hosting together at a good price.

If you want to go the free blogging route I have included two world famous websites, blogger and wordpress. Both are good at providing you a free blog and bloggers do make money with them. The one you are reading now is a self hosted wordpress blog.  I started out using blogger.com free service many years ago with I frist started out in blogging.  Just know you are at the wheems of Blogger and WordPress on what you can and cannot put on your blog.  A few months ago Google pulled the plug on many Blogger accounts just because they wanted to. There was some made up reason for it.   As I have mentioned there is nothing wrong starting out with a free blog but over time I have found that it is best to purchase your own so you can keep all you content together on you site and after years in the search engine your domain that you own will get higher ranked.  One key to search engine ranking is for your blog to be old,  the older the getter as time goes along.

Once you site is ready start blogging about your topic and just keep blogging, everyday would be good from being found in the search engines, once a week is good, the idea is just to talk about your blog subject and make posts. The traffic will come.  Also keep reading everything you can get your hand on blogging.  Over time you accumulated knowledge will create you into the blogger that you will become.

Well here is an update on changing from Google Adsense to Adbrite on my websites.  Several words on Adbrite is that Adbrite is no Google Adsense.  With Google you can make money from traffic and clicks.  With Adbrite, I do not know how anyone can make money from it.  I have made the most $1.32 for one month.  I used to make five times that in one day, some from each websites that I have.

This means I am removing Adbrite post hast, time to try work give another a try.  Next will be Yahoo or Microsoft services. Anything has to be better than Adbrite.  

I will update you on my progress to generate more revenue from my ad space with an adsense type products.
